We met a friend for brunch at Batter: Griddle and Drinkery, which as delightful.
Then we went to the Saturday market and got some eggs, then to Powell’s, then home.
I spent the afternoon cleaning out the fridge and cabinets and reorganizing everything. I had a bit of salt pork that needed to be used, so I made some bacon bits and pork fat “croutons” and tossed ’em in a spinach salad.
These arrived, and I had a few.
Before supper, Sean and I enjoyed some rose on the porch.
Supper was baked red potatoes topped with vegetarian chili.
Sean suggested an unfriendly game of Star Trek Scene It, which we made into a drinking game. (By “drinking game,” I mean we drank while we played.)
After I lost (I’LL GET THAT NERD ONE DAY) we watched The Office and ate popcorn and sour belts.
