Friday was a pretty good food day, if a little bit heavy on the meat.
Breakfast was iced coffee (made at home, because I am v fiscally responsible).
I met Matt for lunch at Edelweiss, where we feasted upon glorious sausages and German potato salad.
Then we poked around the shop, which was a wonderland of Milka bars and exotic cheese.
It was a difficult decision, but I finally settled on a Ritter Sport sampler pack, a large Oreo Milka bar, a hazelnut Kit-Kat, and some Haribo frogs for Sean.
I ate a Ritter Sport when I got home, because I could not resist it’s cornflake call.
I did some work/writing/nail painting, and headed over to yoga around 6:15.
After yoga, we met some friends at Ya Hala for supper.
It was good, but not amazing, though the appetizers were superb. If I hadn’t tried the lamb and rice at Nicholas, I may have been more impressed.
After leaving the restaurant, we were talking on the sidewalk when some dude sauntered up and tried to sell us Klonopin. He was pretty pissed because the guy he had previously tried to sell Klonopin to had lied about “liking to party.” After assuring him that we did not like to party and would never claim to, he announced that he didn’t even think he had them anymore and left, shouting about the “uptight squares” who lie about liking to party.
Oh, and at some point I guess I ate these.
