What Claire Ate: May 10th, 2015

I originally had plans to go out with a friend for brunch, but then we realized that it was Mother’s Day (AKA BRUNCHPOCALYPSE) and decided to make something at home instead.

NOT BAD.

NOT BAD.

Our at-home morning meal consisted of grilled cheese egg in holes, Italian greyhounds, and kombucha.

For health, or something.

For health, or something.

After all of that and some vinyl-listening, Alice had to go play soccer. Once she left, I just sat on the couch for a while and stared at my phone.

Then I called my maternal types.

Then I went for a five-mile run.

It was pretty good, if tiring, run, except for the part at the end when some dude honked at me while his kid screeched from the passenger window. (It was v startling.) Like, I get it dude. You get a little bit of a power rushe\ when you startle women in public spaces, but do you need to teach your son/nephew/brother these behaviors?

ANYWAY.

When I got home I drank some fizzy lemonade and ate too many chips.

Angie finished off the bag while I was in the tub ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

Speaking of the tub! While in there, I had another greyhound!

I didn't eat the bath bomb or the face mask.

I didn’t eat the bath bomb or the face mask.

I’m not sure when exactly, but I did have more of these chocolates.

THE BEST TBH

THE BEST TBH

Supper was some ramen that veggie broth I had made the other day. (Did I tell you guyz about that?)

I topped it with fresh mozz because I am an animal.

OH AND CORN.

OH AND CORN.

I ate the leftover cheese.

Not so leftover anymore!

Not so leftover anymore!

Sean made Manhattans for Mad Men, which was great because I needed a drink to combat all of the feelings.

He also made a little hummus plate, but that didn’t help with the feelings as much.

THE END.
