Yesterday was interesting. I was just about to make breakfast when I noticed one of my dogs stumbling around, unable to walk straight. I immediately assumed she had been poisoned and rushed to take her to the vet, carrying her down three flights of stairs only to realize I had forgotten the garage clicker. Once in the car, I drove her to the emergency vet because THIS WAS AN EMERGENCY but they weren’t open (duh) because emergency clinics have emergency hours. (There is no reason not to know this, both of my parents have worked as emergency vets.
Anyway. She was not poisoned, but has vestibular disease, which should clear up in a few days.
But I was shaken and remained upset for the remainder of the day. Once we got home, I was starving (classic stress eater) so I made and ate two fried eggs on leftover pancakes (with cheese).
The day proceeded normally. I wrote some words about ice cream and had a few bites of the ice cream I was writing about (not pictured). Then I went on a two-mile run.
I wrote a bit more, took a bath, and made dinner. While making cooking, I ate this tangelo.
Then I we ate our dinner of vegetables.
Then we snuggled up on the couch with the pup and watched Doctor Who. Various snacking occurred.
