What Claire Ate: January 23rd, 2015

Breakfast was coffee…

…and cottage cheese and crackers.

Booooring.

Lunch was happy hour at ABV.

Sean got these nuts and I had a few.

I also stole his pickle.

Then I got a Flemish sour that wasn’t really that sour.

A little disappointing, tbh.

I had ordered the bone marrow, but the ratio or bone to bread was waaaaaay off.

Also it must be noted that bread crumbs have no place on bone marrow. Let the meat butter speak for itself, people.

For supper, we met up with a friend for tacos at Porque No. I’m glad we gave this place another chance because I was very impressed this time.

  1. We had a similar soup as part of our wedding menu (one of the many perks of having one’s wedding in a town with its own cheddar)! In addition to the pretty cool dude I came home with, the beer cheese soup may have been one of my favorite parts, and it was a weekend with many great parts. Such is the power of beer+cheese (with croutons).
