What Claire Ate: January 12th, 2014

I woke up on the bitch side of the bed yesterday and everything just kind of devolved from there. I hadn’t even had coffee when the first tragedy struck.

Why do bad things happen to beautiful people?

Why do bad things happen to beautiful people?

I had been waiting for this wine (Klingon Bloodwine) to review for a while but by the time it finally reached me, the cork had popped out. They’re sending me another one. BUT STILL.

Lunch was some chicken stuff from Whole Foods.

Pretty bland tbh.

Pretty bland tbh.

Then I went shopping for post ingredients. In the car, I ate some of the ingredients.

Tasty ingredients.

Tasty ingredients.

When I arrived home, I found that Angie had peed on my bed and that it smelled like dead fish, so I spent the afternoon on the phone with vet parents and obtaining antibiotics.

Only after all that did I have coffee.

Finally.

And boy, did I need it.

The rest of the afternoon was spent baking dog treats.

Then I started drinking and organized the pantry.

I had 2.5 of these "cocktails."

I had 2.5 of these “cocktails.”

Sean and Matt went to watch the game. I stayed home and washed our bedding, made cheese crisps, and watched Friends while drinking gin and eating cheese crisps.

Cheddar tbh.

Cheddar tbh.

Then I conducted some research.

Trio of awesome.

Trio of awesome.

Sean and Matt came home for the last half of the game and with them arrived leftover pizza.

It was pretty good.

It was pretty good.

Then I went to bed and didn’t sleep because I drank coffee so late in the day.

The End.
