What Claire Ate: January 2nd, 2015

Breakfast was toast with goat cheese.

For lunch, we hit up the salad bar at Whole Foods.

I honestly don’t remember what kind of errands we ran, maybe there weren’t any, but when I got home a I made a coffee and then took it up a notch by adding some TJ’s sipping chocolate powder.

I guess I did some writing or something. At some point, I made a nice little cheese plate for myself, complete with some homemade membrillo my stepmom had sent me.

We each had a little Christmas money leftover (I had spent most of mine on this) so we decided to go to the outlets.

Before that, Sean made us grilled cheeses.

Mine had salami and more membrillo!

Neither of us bought anything, so that was kind of a waste. I consoled myself with an ugly but delicious cocktail of muddled blackberries, vodka, ginger syrup, and fizzy lemonade.

Then we just drank and ate and watched Black Mirror. I was not overly impressed with Black Mirror.
