What Claire Ate: September 1st, 2014

In an effort to “feel better” I drank a green juice.

Green means "healthy," right?

And, because I was still a gross snot monster, I put hummus on my bagel instead of cream cheese.

With colorful vegetables.

But then I negated any good I had done by avoiding dairy at breakfast by eating one of these as a snack:

I had some navy beans I needed to use up, so I made a little “hummus” out of them with olive oil and sundried tomatoes.

Quite tasty, if I do say so myself.

I was out of chips and crackers, so I fried some tortilla pieces to accompany the hummus.

A+

For supper, I mad this tomato sauce and served it with brown rice pasta.

So simple. So good.

A little dark chocolate for dessert.

And because I am a terrible night snacker, I had a cheese roll-up.
